Fed Raises Rates

Please turn the tap back on. Fed raises interest rates some more. It signals a faster pace in coming years. OK, so the fed funds rate went up by a quarter-percentage point from 1.5% to 1.75% and we expect to see it go up even more. Esteemed colleagues, we are seeing inflation kick in.

building boom

Analysts predicted a building boom, but I do not see one. Facts are stubborn things my fine ones. What we see is... few skyscrapers if any going up. Instead, there are a lot of abandoned warehouses, empty malls, and stores boarded up.

63 Sam's Club stores closing their doors soon. Folks, we are in an economic crisis. Hey, like even Walmart is in woe. Perhaps we should play number 63 we see. Just remember to keep your eyes open.

Yo, small caps see big gains. This is great news. Frankly, we do like the small caps. However, big caps is where the big money is. Don't get bearish on me.

All we see is more snow. That white powdery stuff turns into a wet mess. Let me tell you, snow is not a friend, but an enemy.

Individuals dream of winning a lot of money. That way, they can buy a racecar. Well, we do hate to break it up. It does not look so promising. Still, it only costs a dollar to dream of a future we can survive in.

Working hard

Working hard is its own reward they say. I do not agree. OK, so the painful result is that we are tired, sweaty, and so sore. Frankly, that is no reward for me. Just thought we would let you in on that one.

summer

Houses look a lot more pretty in summer. Fall is also quite nice. However, winter is cold and full of snow. All the people look forward to is the coming spring. Yeah, that is what we want so we can feel warm once more. Oh wow, I am tired of all the snow or ice. Do look forward to a nice warm summer.

Silicon Valley

Living in the Silicon Valley is expensive. Still, jobs are abundant as we see. Hey, there is a lot to be said for a growing area. However, this is what we see. Firms are downsizing and outsourcing. Most jobs will probably go overseas. Yeah, we often see that - HIGH TECH = LOW PAY.

selling shoes

There was once this computer programmer. He quit his high paying job and started selling shoes - wow. It did come as a shock to me. OK, so that was a long time age. Sadly, we are in a new era. In fact, high tech = low pay.

path we are on

Often we do indeed wonder about the path we are on. Like where is it taking me? Yeah, that is a great question for us. Frankly, we do not have an answer.

exercise is wise

People need more physical activity instead of being glued to a screen. Yeah, we do not burn a lot of calories playing video games. Fellows, exercise is wise. I guess on that much we can agree. However, we need to make time to go outside and smell the roses. Well, there are none. Just see a lot of snow.
