Gatsby was black

Gatsby was black in a time of racism. Tom was reading the the rise of colored empires. Well, that is a clue for us. Basically we see, The Great Gatsby was a story of a black man. His hair was close crop. Also, the skin was tan. and he tried to hide his past weaving a fantastic saga. Fact is, he is swimming inconegro. OK so this story is not old money versus new money. Daisy does not leave Tom for Gatsby, because she fears having a child that is mix race.
